Job Title: Information Governance Matter Mobility Analyst

Job Responsibilities:
The Information Governance Matter Mobility Analyst is responsible for supporting all aspects of the law firm's matter mobility program. Key responsibilities include:

- Implementing firm policy and procedure regarding the firm’s matter mobility process.
- Maintaining a thorough working knowledge of the technology systems used by the Information Governance (IG) department and their functionality.
- Serving as an initial point of contact for lateral attorney arrivals and departures, and communicating with incoming and departing attorneys, clients, and outside counsel regarding the matter mobility process.
- Acting as an internal resource to answer any questions regarding the matter mobility process.
- Analyzing incoming Electronically Stored Information (ESI) related to matter mobility, including confirmation of receipt, identifying appropriate repositories for storage, and facilitating the import of data.
- Performing internal review of records prior to their transfer out of the firm.
- Coordinating with other IG team members and staff to facilitate the transfer of physical records and their incorporation into the firm's records management system.
- Participating in special projects and additional duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Information:
- The candidate should have 3-4 years of law firm or other records management experience.
- A Bachelor’s degree is preferred, or certification(s) in a relevant field.
- The candidate should have the ability to work proactively with attorneys and staff at all levels across the firm.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
- The candidate should be highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive, with a desire to take ownership as a contributing member of the team.
- The ability to balance competing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment, exercising patience and professionalism during stressful situations, is essential.
- The candidate must be able to lift and/or transport materials weighing up to 25 pounds.
- Some overtime may be required.
- Some travel is required, with expenses paid by the firm.
