Job Responsibilities:
The Business Intelligence Analyst at the law firm plays a crucial role in supporting the firm's leadership, timekeepers, and various departments by providing financial reporting, analysis, and insights that drive business decisions. Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and updating reporting assets such as dashboards and reports for different departments within the firm.
- Analyzing and interpreting financial data to provide insights to decision-makers including individual partners, teams of partners, or managers, and discussing the underlying dynamics affecting financial performance.
- Monitoring and evaluating data sources to ensure data accuracy.
- Coordinating with users to address data inquiries and providing ad hoc reporting and analysis as required.
- Documenting and updating documentation related to dashboards, reports, and financial glossary.
- Performing other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Information:
Candidates are required to have a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Management from an accredited college or university. Additionally, the position requires:
- 5+ years of experience in data analysis and report development.
- Previous experience with the Aderant financial system is preferred.
- Proficiency in Excel for data analysis and a strong command of SQL for querying databases.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI and SSRS for creating insightful and compelling reports and dashboards.
- Clear and effective communication skills to convey complex concepts to both technical and non-technical users.
- Attention to detail in data analysis and reporting.
- Understanding of SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS).
- Familiarity with R and Python programming.
- Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Azure.

Salary Information:
The salary for this remote role varies based on geographic location, experience, internal equity, market data, and job-related factors, with a range from $82,200 to $150,000. Offers are contingent upon these factors.
