Law Firm Seeking RN Paralegal with Experience in Medical Information Interpretation

Salary Information:
- Salary range: $50,000-$70,000 per year

Job Title:
RN Paralegal

Experience Information:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a law firm or healthcare setting
- Experience in medical information interpretation and review
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Familiarity with legal terminology and procedures

Responsibilities:
- Obtain and review medical records for cases involving medical information
- Communicate and coordinate with physicians, hospital personnel, expert witnesses, clients, and attorneys for information exchange
- Schedule and set up meetings and/or depositions
- Conduct interviews with witnesses in preparation for depositions
- Attend depositions as required
- Write deposition summaries for attorneys
- Prepare materials for Medical Review Panels and Physician's position papers
- Draft legal memorandums for attorneys

Key Skills:
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and procedures
- Ability to review and interpret medical records
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- Familiarity with legal terminology and procedures
- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal research databases
