Administrator, Business Development – Litigation

Job Responsibilities:
The Administrator, Business Development – Litigation is tasked with providing comprehensive administrative, logistical, and organizational support to the . Litigation Client Development team at the law firm. Key responsibilities include:

- Creating, organizing, and coordinating the team’s activity tracking, calendars, meetings, and reporting for submissions and projects such as website/content refreshes and audits.
- Managing data maintenance, including pitch reporting and work in the experience database—Foundation, and contact and relationship management in the CRM system—Interaction.
- Assisting in maintaining collateral materials like attorney biographies, practice area capability statements, and accolades.
- Updating marketing databases (Foundation, Interaction) and trackers (Word, Excel) for mailing lists, contacts, pitches, submissions, and marketing materials.
- Providing logistical and administrative support for the Litigation Client Development team and client events as needed.
- Ensuring organized file maintenance in iManage and updating case information in the litigation database.
- Owning the team calendar and processing related requests and expenses.
- Conducting research on clients, prospects, industry segments, and competitors.
- Supporting the development and execution of special business development projects with the Director and Associate Director.

Education and Experience Information:
- A Bachelor’s degree is required; additional certifications or coursework in marketing, business, or related fields are advantageous.
- A minimum of two years of experience in professional services, preferably within a law firm or legal department.
- Experience in supporting business pitches and an understanding of legal practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite is preferred.
- Experience with CRM systems (Interaction) is preferred.

- Capability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work overtime as necessary.

Salary Information:
The annual compensation range for this position is $55,000 to $65,000. The salary offered within this range will depend on qualifications and other operational considerations. Benefits offered for this position include health care; retirement benefits; paid days off, including sick time and vacation time; parental leave; basic life insurance; Flexible Spending Accounts; as well as discretionary, performance-based bonuses.
