Job Title: Front-Desk Receptionist/Legal Assistant
Job Responsibilities:
- Reception: Manage the front desk by answering and routing multi-line calls, welcoming clients, and handling mail and couriers.
- Time Entry & Billing: Enter daily attorney time using Timeslips software; proofread, post, and assist in sending monthly invoices.
- E-filing: File pleadings and exhibits in Maricopa County Superior Court using AZTurboCourt and in . District Court using CM/ECF; monitor acceptances and rejections of filings.
- Calendar & Deadlines: Log hearing dates, discovery cut-offs, and recording appointments; send reminders to relevant parties.
- Document Support: Scan, save, and tag incoming papers; maintain both digital and physical case files.
- Office Flow: Order supplies and coordinate conference-room schedules to ensure smooth office operations.
Education and Experience Information:
- 1-2 years of experience in a law firm or professional services front desk setting.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Outlook), Adobe Acrobat, and law firm practice software, with a preference for Timeslips.
- Familiarity with Arizona and federal e-filing systems, or a willingness to quickly learn these systems.
- Typing speed of 60 words per minute.
- Possess a warm phone manner, punctuality, and the ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.
- A notary commission or bilingual ability in English and Spanish is considered a plus.
Salary Information:
- Pay range is - per hour, as provided by the employer.
- The position is full-time with expected hours of 40 per week.
