Job Title: Family Law Paralegal (English/Spanish)

Job Responsibilities:

- Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents such as petitions, motions, and discovery requests related to family law cases.
- Draft correspondence and maintain organized case files to ensure all documentation is up-to-date.
- Proofread legal documents for accuracy and compliance with court requirements.
- Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and provide updates on case progress.
- Manage deadlines for filings and court appearances to ensure timely submissions.
- Collaborate with other legal professionals on cases involving immigration law, workers compensation law, securities law, and environmental law as needed.
- Perform clerical tasks including filing, scanning, and organizing documents.

Education and Experience Information:

- Proficiency in legal drafting and proofreading with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong research skills to effectively utilize legal databases such as Westlaw.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for client interaction and documentation purposes.
- Familiarity with family law procedures and terminology is preferred.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of related areas such as immigration law is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Bi-lingual (English/Spanish)

Salary Information:

- Pay: $52, - $62, per year
