Job Title: Receptionist
Job Responsibilities:
The Receptionist at the law firm is responsible for a variety of tasks essential to the smooth operation of the office. The primary responsibilities include:
- Greeting clients and guests in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Answering, screening, and routing incoming calls appropriately.
- Responding to general inquiries and directing them to the appropriate personnel within the firm.
- Managing the conference room calendar to ensure efficient scheduling and utilization.
- Maintaining public areas such as the reception area, conference rooms, lounge, and visiting attorney offices to ensure they remain neat and orderly.
- Assisting in coordinating meetings and events as needed to support office operations.
In addition to these core duties, the Receptionist is also involved in mail and support services, which include:
- Receiving, sorting, and distributing incoming mail to the appropriate recipients.
- Processing outgoing mail, including certified mail, FedEx, UPS, and other courier services.
Hospitality and client services are also a significant part of the role, involving:
- Setting up and resetting conference rooms for meetings, including handling AV technology.
- Coordinating food and beverage services for internal and client meetings and events.
- Maintaining kitchen and pantry areas, ensuring they are clean and supplies are stocked.
- Assisting in planning and executing office events, providing white-glove customer service to both internal and external clients.
Education and Experience Information:
The ideal candidate for this Receptionist position should possess:
- Prior experience in a law firm or corporate environment, which is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a mindset focused on customer service.
- The ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with care.
- Advanced knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Portable Document Format (PDF) applications, including imaging and scanning functions.

Salary Information:
The salary range for the Receptionist position is $45, to $55, annually.
