Job Title: Senior Manager, Legal

Job Responsibilities:

- The Senior Manager, Legal will report directly to the Chief Legal Officer for KFC Global and Pizza Hut Global, providing legal and strategic advice with a primary focus on the Center of Excellence Supply Chain Management, market roll-out of Digital & Technology initiatives, global marketing initiatives, strategic legal initiatives, and master services agreements.
- Lead negotiations of key global partnership agreements in collaboration with other functions. This includes working with major vendors across multiple service industries such as supply chain, licensing, and contracts to develop strategic alliances and execute key business initiatives successfully.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to direct the global policy and governance agenda. This involves focusing on growth strategies, governance/standards roll-outs to enhance compliance, and facilitating growth.
- Manage a senior paralegal and external consultants, including setting their priorities, measuring results, and implementing best practices to drive efficiencies across the business.

Education and Experience Information:

Education/Certifications:
- Required: Juris Doctor (.) or equivalent law degree from an accredited law school and admission to the bar in the home state.

Experience:
- Required:
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience from a top-tier law firm and/or comparable in-house experience.
- Strong leadership and strategic skills with a high degree of business acumen.
- Demonstrable success in working effectively across functions and with external parties to resolve complex business and risk management issues efficiently.
- Significant experience in drafting and negotiating commercial and corporate contracts.
- Ability to manage people, foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, executives, and external partners to establish strategic alliances, and drive business initiatives.
- Preferred:
- Knowledge of franchising, digital and technology, and supply chain agreements/processes within the Food and Beverage Industry.
- General legal background with the ability to think strategically across a multitude of issues and cross-functional initiatives.
- Hands-on legal expertise in drafting and negotiating agreements directly, with little supervision and within tight budgets and timelines.
- International work experience preferred.
- Franchising/commercial background preferred.
