Job Title: Strategic Pricing Analyst

Job Responsibilities:
The Strategic Pricing Analyst plays a crucial role in the Strategic Pricing Department at the law firm. The primary duties and responsibilities necessary for successful job performance include:

- Collaborating with a variety of key stakeholders, including lawyers and staff, to support the development of responses to client RFPs and informal pricing requests. This involves creating budgets, rate proposals, and alternative fee arrangements while providing strategic insight and developing pricing solutions that align with the firm's profitability goals and satisfy clients’ business requirements.
- Drafting and improving written pricing proposal language that is professional, succinct, and persuasive.
- Developing and maintaining relationships to ensure successful collaboration across various teams within the firm, such as Business Development, Client Agreements, Matter Maintenance, and Billing teams.
- Contributing to strategic pricing initiatives of the firm with financial modeling and data analysis. This includes identifying, extracting, and summarizing information from multiple sources for a variety of stakeholders, enabling the firm’s stakeholders to make more informed business decisions.
- Engaging with a variety of key stakeholders to support the development of profitable pricing solutions and serving as a liaison with the firm’s Business Committee.
- Delivering excellent customer service in response to lawyer and client requests.
- Partnering with other members of the Strategic Pricing team to gain a well-rounded knowledge base and to teach others about your area of expertise.
- Pursuing professional development opportunities with senior team members, analyst cohort presentations, and other online resources.

Education and Experience Information:
- A Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or another related business function is required.
- A minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience is required, ideally involving financial analysis.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, is required. Experience with SQL is a plus.
- General knowledge in financial modeling in Microsoft Excel is necessary.

- The candidate must be proactive and have the ability to simultaneously manage and prioritize multiple projects, completing work within given time constraints.
- Attention to detail, sound judgment, and the confidence and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with the firm’s senior management, attorneys, and staff are essential.

- The candidate should be an open-minded critical thinker who is curious and eager to learn.

Salary Information:
The salary range for the Strategic Pricing Analyst position is $106,000 to $150,000. Candidates hired for staff positions with a minimum work schedule of 30 hours per week are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, including healthcare insurance.
