Job Title: Conflicts Support Coordinator
Job Responsibilities:
As a Conflicts Support Coordinator at the law firm, you will play a crucial role in supporting the New Business & Conflicts (NB&C) team. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Communication Channels: You will be responsible for monitoring the NB&C email inbox, ensuring the smooth flow of communication between the department and firm personnel who request conflicts and new matters.
- Data Management: You will maintain engagement letters, riders, clearance emails, waivers, and other client engagement-related documentation in the firm's systems.
- Workflow: Your duties will involve facilitating the processing of new business conflicts and matter requests, as well as engagement and waiver letters. This includes filing letters, attaching documents to forms, adding responses or additional conflict or matter-related information to forms, and submitting them back to the request queue. You will also respond to status inquiries, client and matter exemptions, and organize electronic matter files to improve workflow efficiencies.
- Innovation: You will be encouraged to look for ways to streamline processes and procedures, identify new and expanded uses for existing technologies, and contribute to the firm's environment of innovation.
