IP Litigation Paralegal
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive paralegal support throughout all phases of . International Trade Commission (ITC) investigations, from pre-complaint due diligence through post-hearing briefing and final determination.
- Manage and coordinate large-scale discovery document collection, review, and production.
- Handle filings via the ITC’s Electronic Document Information System (EDIS).
- File documents in both state and federal courts and prepare e-filings when appropriate.
- Serve as a liaison between the trial team and third parties and provide on-site support at trial as needed.
- Assist in drafting and organizing hearing exhibits and witness materials.
Education and Experience Information:
- Minimum of high school diploma or GED required. Must meet requirements to be a Paralegal as defined by the State of California.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in IP litigation required.
- Possess proficiency with litigation support tools and e-discovery platforms.
- Must have experience with IPR filings, PTAB filings, and USPTO website.
Salary Information:
- Pursuant to the California Pay Transparency for Pay Equity Act, the San Diego-based position ranges from $82,700 to $115,800, and the Los Angeles-based position ranges from $86,300 to $120,800. These figures represent the full compensation range of this position. The actual offered amount will be determined based on the following factors: education, experience, geographic market, and internal pay equity at the law firm.

- The position requires strong time management skills, the ability to work under pressure on time-sensitive projects, willingness to work overtime and travel occasionally, self-motivation, and the ability to work independently.
- The candidate should be able to work effectively within a team and with all levels of personnel, possess superior knowledge of legal terminology, documents, and the legal process, have excellent research and analytical skills, and maintain high-level attention to detail.
