Job Responsibilities
The NBI Systems & Data Assistant at the law firm plays a crucial role in supporting the firm's risk management functions. The primary responsibilities include:
- Reviewing and confirming the accuracy and thoroughness of data for open clients and matters.
- Performing quality control checks on new business intake data to ensure accuracy.
- Communicating with partners and legal professional specialists to gather necessary data.
- Working cross-departmentally with Finance and Practice Group Directors, among other departments, to relay specific and global changes to client and matter data.
- Performing other duties as assigned by the firm.

Education and Experience Information
Minimum Education
- High School Diploma or GED is required.

Preferred Education
- A Bachelor’s Degree or a paralegal certificate is preferred.

Minimum Years of Experience
- At least 1 year of quality control or data experience within a law firm, corporate, or academic setting, or similar experience is required.

Desired Skills
- Experience in writing and communicating in a business environment to present information concisely.
- Familiarity with finance, intake, and conflicts software tools.
- Excellent verbal and written business communication skills, maintaining a customer service-oriented approach.
- Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to prioritize, multitask, and work under pressure to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to identify and resolve data integrity issues.
- Flexibility in remote working arrangements.

Salary Information
The expected hiring range for this position at the law firm is - per hour, depending on the geographic market location of the candidate. This position is non-exempt and will be paid on an hourly basis, with overtime paid in accordance with applicable laws. The compensation offered will also depend on factors such as the candidate’s experience, skills, educational and professional background, and overall qualifications.
