The Law Firm is seeking an experienced and professional Project Manager to join their Real Estate and Facilities department. In this role, the Project Manager will be responsible for planning, implementing, and managing assigned internal commercial construction projects. This includes managing all phases of office renovations, relocations, and openings, as well as communicating project progress to leadership and internal service departments. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least 5 years of construction experience and/or experience in the Real Estate and Facilities environment at a legal or professional services firm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the planning and implementation of assigned office projects, including RFP process, construction, furniture delivery and installation, and office moves
- Develop RFPs for design and general construction services and work with management on selection processes
- Plan out all phases of office renovations, relocations, and openings
- Communicate project progress to leadership and internal service departments
- Collaborate with relevant service departments to ensure seamless project completion
- Build strong relationships with contractors, vendors, and office building personnel
- Develop and adhere to project budgets, timelines, and quality controls
- Follow up to ensure project expectations are met and resolve any outstanding issues
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in construction science and management, engineering, architecture, business administration, or a related field
- 5 years of construction experience and/or experience at a legal or professional services firm in the Real Estate and Facilities environment
- Familiarity with construction project management software
- Construction project management certification a plus
- Ability to travel intermittently and work occasional weekends
