Job Title: Associate Attorney
Job Responsibilities:
As an Associate Attorney with the law firm, you will have a variety of responsibilities aimed at representing clients and ensuring effective case management. Your duties will include:
- Representing clients who have been injured due to exposure to asbestos.
- Meeting with prospective clients to present the law firm’s capabilities and assess overall case criteria for acceptance by the firm.
- Coordinating the ordering of medical, military, social security, employment, and union records.
- Conducting research and investigation of job sites, equipment, and products.
- Managing and working up assigned asbestos-disease cases.
- Overseeing and managing lien resolution.
- Engaging in litigation, including drafting complaints, conducting motion practice, attending hearings, and participating in depositions through trial.
- Traveling within the United States to attend hearings, settlement conferences, mediations, and other legal proceedings.
- Maintaining communication with clients to provide updates and gather necessary information.
Education and Experience Information:
Candidates must possess the following education and experience:
- A law degree from an ABA-accredited US Law School.
- Bar admission with strong academic credentials.
- Preferred experience includes prior work in plaintiff’s asbestos, complex medical malpractice, mass tort, or personal injury cases.
- Strong case management skills are required.
