Job Title: Legal Assistant - Corporate Litigation

Job Responsibilities:
- E-Filing Management: Responsible for preparing and filing legal documents electronically through South Carolina State and Federal court systems. This involves ensuring that all electronic submissions are accurate and comply with the necessary legal standards and regulations.
- Document Preparation & Review: Tasks include drafting, proofreading, and formatting various legal documents such as pleadings, motions, discovery, and correspondence. The role requires meticulous attention to detail to ensure that all documents meet legal and procedural standards.
- Case Management: Maintain and organize case files both electronically and physically. This includes ensuring that all filings are up-to-date and deadlines are consistently met to avoid any legal missteps.
- Attorney Support: Provide comprehensive support to attorneys, which includes scheduling, managing court filings, assisting with trial preparations, and coordinating cases. This role is integral in ensuring that attorneys are well-prepared for all legal proceedings.
- Calendaring & Deadlines: Responsible for tracking litigation deadlines, hearings, and court dates. Maintaining compliance with all court rules and procedures is crucial to the role, requiring precise organizational skills.
- Administrative Support: Handle various administrative tasks including time entry, billing assistance, and making travel arrangements as needed. These tasks support the overall efficiency and productivity of the legal team.

Education and Experience Information:
- Experience: Candidates must have a minimum of 3+ years of litigation legal assistant experience, with a preference for experience within South Carolina. This experience is essential to handle the complexities of the role effectively.
- E-Filing Proficiency: A strong knowledge of South Carolina State and Federal court electronic filing systems is required. This ensures that the candidate can efficiently manage the e-filing responsibilities.
