Job Title: Seattle Midlevel Labor, Employment, Workplace Safety Associate
Job Responsibilities:
- Join the Labor, Employment and Workplace Safety (LEWS) practice in the Seattle office.
- Handle a range of employment issues, including class action and single plaintiff litigation.
- Counsel employers on employment matters and review and draft employment policies and agreements.
- Be familiar with various employment issues such as hiring, wage and hour, leave, discipline, termination, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and restrictive covenants.
- Work on labor and employment aspects of business mergers and acquisitions.
- Collaborate closely with experienced lawyers for mentoring and to gain opportunities for increased responsibility and client interaction.
- Must be a self-starter capable of working independently and as part of a team.
Education and Experience Information:
- Require three to five years of experience in employment law.
- Prior experience with traditional labor relations is a plus but not required.
- Strong academic credentials and excellent communication skills are necessary.
- Commitment to providing high-quality client service is essential.
Salary Information:
- Base compensation ranges from $225,000 to $295,000 per year.
- Compensation will be determined during the interview process and will vary based on factors such as prior experience, relevant expertise, current business needs, and market factors.
