Job Title: New Business Supervisor

Job Responsibilities:
The New Business Supervisor at the law firm is responsible for overseeing the new business intake process and managing the Conflicts Analysts. The supervisor provides assistance to attorneys and legal assistants as needed. Key responsibilities include:

- Supervising the conflict checking process for all new clients and matters.
- Reviewing conflict checks within Intapp Open to ensure timely progress and assisting analysts when necessary. This includes actively running conflicts searches.
- Keeping track of and following up on "Rush" conflict requests to ensure timely processing.
- Overseeing and maintaining the new business workflow, including moving requests to workflow participants, ensuring acceptable progress, and declining matters pending too long.
- Assisting users with the Intapp Open system through instructions or demonstrations.
- Managing the NBIG mailbox to ensure timely responses to inquiries.
- Supervising Conflicts Analysts by providing training on best practices, managing workload, and tracking PTO to avoid short staffing in the department.

Additional duties involve working with the law firm's General Counsel to ensure accuracy in prospective parties and consistency in engagement letters and waiver language with firm policies. The supervisor also assists Billing or Accounts Payable in client/matter searches and problem-solving.

Education and Experience Information:
The position requires a . Experience in legal conflict search strategies and evaluation is essential. Familiarity with applications such as Intapp Open, Elite 3E, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word is necessary. While the firm currently operates in a decentralized conflicts environment, the role involves potential participation in transitioning to a centralized format, and previous experience in such an environment is valuable.

Salary Information:
The salary range for the New Business Supervisor position is $95,000 – $120,000 annually, depending on experience.
