Job Title: Workers’ Compensation Claimant Personal Injury Paralegal
Job Responsibilities:
The Workers’ Compensation Claimant Personal Injury Paralegal at the law firm is responsible for a variety of duties essential to the effective and efficient operation of the Workers’ Compensation practice area. This includes ensuring that all essential deadline requirements are met. The paralegal will also assist with other office duties, which may include conducting intake interviews and performing back-up administrative tasks. Given the high volume of cases managed by the Workers’ Compensation practice area, the paralegal must be an independent, highly organized self-starter. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with the ability to work cooperatively within a professional setting.
Education and Experience Information:
Candidates for the position must possess an undergraduate degree and a paralegal certificate or equivalent. A minimum of three years’ experience working as a Workers’ Compensation paralegal is required. Proficiency in using and understanding the Workers’ Compensation Automation and Integration System (WCAIS) is also necessary. While the ability to communicate in Spanish is helpful, it is not a mandatory requirement.
Salary Information:
The position offers a competitive salary range of $45,000 to $50,000 per year. The law firm also provides a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
