Job Responsibilities:
The legal secretary position involves supporting a minimum of four attorneys in the litigation department. Key responsibilities include:
- Docketing and scheduling appointments, including travel, depositions, and various meetings.
- Filing and serving documents in both state and federal courts.
- Creating and managing legal documents.
- Opening new legal matters.
- Processing financial tasks related to legal work.
Education and Experience Information:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- A minimum of five years of legal experience is essential for this role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is necessary.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
- Excellent organizational skills are essential.
- The ability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize responsibilities is crucial.
- The ability to maintain and handle confidential information is critical.
- Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Salary Information:
- The salary range for this position is between USD $65, per year and USD $75, per year.
