Job Responsibilities

- Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as Lexis-Nexis to support case preparation and strategy.
- Draft, review, and manage pleadings and other legal documents with attention to detail.
- Assist in the preparation of legal filings and documentation for court proceedings.
- Manage case files and maintain organized records for ongoing legal matters.
- Collaborate with attorneys on case management and workflow.
- Be familiar with King County and Snohomish County rules and filing systems.
- Communicate with clients, witnesses, and other parties involved in legal cases as needed.

Education and Experience Information

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
- Previous experience working in a law office required, with a preference for family law experience.
- Proficiency in legal research techniques and familiarity with case management software.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey complex information.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Comfortable working with clients in highly sensitive and/or emotional matters.

Salary Information

- Pay: $75, - $80, per year
