Bankruptcy Paralegal The candidate will work alongside a team of attorneys and professionals dedicated to exceeding expectations and customer satisfaction. Work collaboratively with attorneys and support staff in preparing legal documents and/or processing transactions; Review new client referrals, loan documents, bankruptcy plans and schedules, motions, affidavits, dockets, pleadings, etc. Draft legal documents including but not limited to motions, affidavits, orders, memoranda, and letters; Monitor client systems and perform data entry updates for client systems and internal databases; Promptly review and respond to communications from various parties involved in the bankruptcy process; Escalate immediately when attorney action is required; Excellent oral, written, and communication skills with ability to communicate at all levels; Should have High school diploma with 3-5 years of verifiable work experience required (will consider bachelor's degree in lieu of work experience); Bankruptcy experience representing creditors is a plus; Must have familiarity with Bankruptcy Law; Paralegal certification required (will consider 3-5 years work experience as a paralegal in lieu of certification).
