Practice Group Manager – Antitrust & Competition – New York/Washington, .
Responsibilities:
- Support the day-to-day operations of the Antitrust and Competition group at a leading global law firm.
- Work closely with practice group and firm leadership to develop and implement strategic initiatives.
- Serve as an information conduit for cross-department and cross-office projects.
- Collaborate with marketing, business development, and communications teams to support business development efforts.
- Manage tracking of practice-specific data, such as pitches, targets, and client outreach.
- Develop agendas and drive follow-up for regular partner and group meetings.
- Partner with professional development and diversity departments to support attorney development and diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and drive execution.
- Stay up to date on current legal market trends, news, and innovations.
Qualifications:
- MBA or equivalent with strong academic credentials.
- 5-7 years of business or legal experience preferred.
- Experience with litigation, government investigations, and M&A transactions.
- Understanding of how attorneys operate and practice within a law firm environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and with a team.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Able to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
- Creative thinker with strong time management skills.
- Global sensibilities and interest in cross-border matters.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

This role will support the day-to-day operations of the group and work closely with practice group and firm leadership to develop and implement strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate will have an MBA or equivalent with strong academic credentials and 5-7 years of business or legal experience, as well as experience with litigation, government investigations, and M&A transactions.
