Job Title: Business Analyst
Job Responsibilities:
- Serve as the liaison between the business, technology, vendors, and support teams.
- Provide and support the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key business stakeholders and identifying their business needs.
- Lead analysis on complex projects and continuously evaluate systems and processes to identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to streamline existing processes.
- Partner with internal and external parties to ensure solutions provided meet the long-term business strategies.
- Produce required project analysis documentation, including business requirements, functional requirements, use cases, process diagrams, and future state proposals.
- Collaborate in Jira and Confluence on tasks related to business analysis.
- Prepare test scripts and assist with the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) process.
- Provide mentoring to team members and create opportunities for other analysts to shadow and learn core skills.
- Articulate ideas and viewpoints to senior management and peers and help identify new project initiatives.
- Work closely with the manager to foster development within the Business Analyst team.
Education and Experience Information:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Minimum 7-10 years of experience in software development, business analysis, or project management, preferably in a professional services environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience in a law firm is a plus.
- Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) certification is a plus.
- Good documentation skills.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) in various settings (., video conference, audio).
- Excellent presentation skills (written and verbal).
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a dynamic, multicultural environment with diverse personalities at all levels of the firm.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and work under pressure, managing multiple responsibilities amid competing priorities, tight deadlines, and changing business demands and opportunities.
- Professional ethic and manner – must demonstrate the ability to maintain strict confidentiality of the firm’s internal and personnel affairs.
- Must be a self-starter with a proactive work attitude, results-oriented, reliable, and flexible.
- Ability to take a structured approach to problem-solving and decision-making by analyzing, thinking ahead, and planning.
- Ability to work on own initiative and in a team-based environment.
- Ability to find creative solutions and think outside the box.
- Exhibits good judgment and accountability.
- Flexibility regarding working hours and willingness to work some overtime due to collaboration with global offices.
- Willingness to occasionally travel if needed.
Salary Information:
- The estimated base salary for this position is $130,000 to $140,000 at the time of posting.
- The actual salary offered will depend on a variety of job-related factors, including skills, education, training, credentials, experience, scope and complexity of role responsibilities, geographic location, and performance.
- This role is exempt, meaning it is not overtime pay eligible.
