Criminal Law Paralegal The candidate will focus on managing clients. Focus on providing expert strategies. Active, Fast-Paced Environment with ability to go to Court and attend depositions and mediation with attorneys. Make improvement recommendations to practice managers. Manage performance metrics to track accomplishments and client satisfaction through practice quality software. Assist attorneys in matters involving misdemeanors and felonies. Conduct interviews with the parties involved in alleged criminal activity. Obtain and prepare evidence for hearings and trials, research and confirm whether information obtained is accurate. Draft legal documents, prepare written reports for cases, and arrange legal arguments for the attorneys. Capture hourly billing. Prepare files for court, mediation, and hearings. Attend Depositions and Trials with Attorney.

Requirement : The candidate should have High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required. Paralegal's Certificate, Associate's Degree, or Bachelor's degree a plus. Litigation Support Staff Experience not required but preferred. Criminal Law Experience. Familiar with Texas Rules of Criminal Procedure and Deadlines. Ability to multi-task and manage a busy, hands-on caseload. Preferably should have 1 year of paralegal, law firm and criminal law experience.
