Overview:
- Seeking an entry-level Transaction Clerk for the M&A and Private Equity department at a leading law firm
- Expected start date in Summer 2025
- Position can be based in San Francisco, New York, or other US office locations
- Responsible for coordinating transactions from start to finish and providing support to attorneys and legal professionals
- Opportunity to work with AI-enabled and other legal technology to review and analyze corporate documents
- Perform tasks such as organizing documents, managing schedules, and assisting with closing preparations
- Must have excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required, with a strong academic background
- Prior legal experience or office experience preferred but not required
- Willingness to maintain a flexible work schedule, including evenings and weekends
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Passion for the legal industry and desire to gain hands-on experience before attending law school
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong time-management skills
