Job Title: IT Manager

Job Responsibilities:
The IT Manager at the law firm is responsible for overseeing the management and maintenance of the firm’s IT infrastructure. Key responsibilities include:

- IT Infrastructure Management: Oversee daily management of IT infrastructure, ensuring secure and efficient operations of servers, networks, cloud services, and devices. Ensure seamless connectivity and secure data access for users, both in-office and remotely.
- Technology Strategy & General Management: Research and recommend new legal technologies and software solutions to improve productivity. Manage e-discovery and litigation hold requests, assist in testing disaster recovery plans, and coordinate communications during critical IT scenarios.
- Help Desk & Technical Support: Serve as the escalation point for Help Desk Team, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues. Oversee scheduling for after-hour and on-call support and maintain a high level of customer service.
- Vendor and Asset Management: Manage software licensing, updates, renewals, and asset acquisition. Oversee inventory and disposition of hardware and software.
- Cybersecurity & Data Protection: Uphold data security protocols to protect sensitive information. Ensure compliance with industry-specific regulations and conduct regular security audits and incident response efforts.
- Staff Training & Development: Provide ongoing training to help desk team and support career growth objectives. Help lawyers and staff stay informed about new technologies in the legal field.

Education and Experience Information:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 5-7 years of supervisory/manager experience with hands-on involvement required; experience in a law firm is strongly preferred.
- Project Management (CAPM, PMP) and Technical Certifications (MCITP, VCP) are a plus.
- Extensive application support and technical knowledge of network, telecommunications, server, and PC operating systems.
- Experience with Microsoft products, cloud networking, document management, and eDiscovery platforms.
- Knowledge of VMWare, SAN, mobile device management, and network administration tasks.

Salary Information:
The good faith base annual salary range for the IT Manager position is between $150,000 and $175,000. The actual salary offered will depend on factors such as years of relevant experience, education, and overall qualifications. The law firm also offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision insurance, 401K, disability, life insurance, and Paid Time Off (PTO).
