Real Estate Finance Associate at Law Firm
Law Firm is seeking a midlevel associate with a minimum of four years of experience to join the Real Estate Finance Group in the Washington, ., Baltimore or Tysons office. The successful candidate will have experience representing borrowers, lenders, and/or government-sponsored enterprises in connection with commercial loan transactions.
Responsibilities:
• Review, draft, and negotiate loan documents
• Review, analyze, and manage legal due diligence (such as organizational documents and ownership structure, title, survey, zoning, leases, and legal opinions)
• Manage and close complex commercial real estate transactions
• Train and manage junior associates and paralegals
• Provide excellent oral and written communication
• Be detailed oriented and organized
Qualifications:
• Juris doctorate degree from an accredited law school
• Admitted to and in good standing with the relevant jurisdiction’s bar
• Experience with Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and/or other multifamily lenders, and/or syndicated credit facilities is a plus
• Experience with loans secured by multifamily housing, seniors housing, affordable housing, manufactured housing, and/or hotels
• Prior law firm experience required
• Outstanding academic record

Qualifications
