Job Title: Human Resources Generalist
Job Responsibilities:
The Human Resources Generalist at the law firm will undertake a variety of HR functions to support the organization's operations and culture. Key responsibilities include:
Recruitment & Onboarding:
- Posting job openings and screening resumes.
- Coordinating interviews and managing onboarding logistics.
- Supporting I-9 completion and technology setup for new employees.
Employee Relations:
- Acting as a primary contact for employee inquiries.
- Assisting in the coordination of engagement activities.
- Promoting and supporting a positive and respectful workplace culture.
HR Administration:
- Maintaining accurate employee records.
- Managing paid time off (PTO), leave balances, and ensuring compliance with relevant policies.
- Coordinating performance reviews and managing exit processes.
Benefits & Payroll Support:
- Assisting with payroll processing.
- Liaising with vendors and managing 401(k) contributions.
- Helping employees navigate benefit systems and options.
Policy & Compliance:
- Communicating HR policies and benefits to employees.
- Ensuring alignment with legal requirements and internal guidelines.
Education and Experience Information:
Candidates for the Human Resources Generalist position should possess the following qualifications:
- 3-5 years of HR experience, with experience in a law firm or professional services environment considered a plus.
- Familiarity with Professional Employer Organization (PEO) platforms such as Insperity or ADP Total Source.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented, discreet, and adaptable.
- A collaborative mindset with a drive for personal and professional growth.
The position also requires either a Bachelor's degree or relevant HR/Administrative experience ranging from 3 to 5 years.
