Job Title: Personal Injury Attorney
Job Responsibilities:
Attorneys at the law firm play a critical role in managing the entire lifecycle of personal injury cases, which includes everything from the initial filing to the final verdict. The law firm specializes in handling serious and catastrophic injury cases. The attorneys are tasked with delivering exceptional service with a focus on high-level legal work. They are supported by dedicated teams who manage administrative and non-legal tasks, allowing attorneys to concentrate solely on legal responsibilities. Key responsibilities include:
- Screening potential litigation clients and conducting in-depth interviews with clients and witnesses
- Managing case files and overseeing all aspects of litigation strategy
- Drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery documents
- Negotiating with insurance companies to secure favorable outcomes
- Preparing for and participating in mediations and settlement discussions
- Conducting witness interviews and depositions, and preparing clients for their depositions
- Providing legal counsel to clients throughout the litigation process
- Assisting with trial preparation and representation as needed
- Collaborating closely with supervising attorneys to ensure seamless case management and results-driven litigation
Employment is full-time, with a working schedule from Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 6:30 PM EST.
Education and Experience Information:
- A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school is required.
- Membership in the Florida Bar is mandatory.
- A minimum of 2 years of personal injury experience is required.
- Candidates must possess strong verbal and written communication skills as well as excellent people skills.
- Professionalism and a commitment to client customer service and representation are essential.
- Experience and knowledge in evaluating the value of claims are necessary.
- Excellent attention to detail, the ability to multitask, and the capability to meet deadlines are crucial.
Salary Information:
The salary range for this position is $95,000 to $160,000, depending on experience.
