Job Title: Telecom Specialist

Job Responsibilities:
The Telecom Specialist at the law firm is responsible for providing administrative, research, and office support for an assigned department or practice group within the firm. The role includes a variety of tasks to ensure efficient operation and support of the department's objectives. Key responsibilities include:
- Performing administrative duties such as creating and editing documents, maintaining spreadsheets, and analyzing data.
- Conducting research and gathering data to prepare reports, analyses, and multi-national surveys.
- Attending and participating in meetings to gain an understanding of department objectives and recent activities.
- Communicating effectively, both verbally and in writing, with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties.
- Producing and meeting deliverables, answering phones, and responding to files and correspondence efficiently and responsively.
- Assisting with the document management system to update and create new documents, which may involve collating documents, brochures, or other materials.
- Participating in special projects as needed.

Education and Experience Information:
Minimum Education:
- A High School diploma or GED is required.

Preferred Education:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Political Science, Government Affairs, or a related field is preferred.

Minimum Years of Experience:
- At least 1 year of experience in a law office or professional services environment, legislative environment, federal agency, or military experience is required.

Essential Job Expectations:
The Telecom Specialist is expected to uphold certain universal requirements that apply to all employees at the law firm. These include:
- Effective verbal and written communication with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties.
- Efficient and responsive production of deliverables, answering of phone calls, and replying to correspondence.
- Providing timely, accurate, and quality work products.

- Complying with all firm policies and practices.
- Engaging in both physical and sedentary activities, such as working at a computer for extended periods, participating in digital/virtual conference calls, and attending meetings as needed.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage competing demands in a fast-paced environment.
- Performing all other duties, tasks, or projects as assigned.

Physical Demands:
The role involves exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. The job is primarily sedentary, involving sitting most of the time, with walking and standing required only occasionally.

Work Environment:
The position may offer a hybrid work arrangement comprised of remote and in-office work, determined in coordination with the hiring manager or supervisor and subject to modification at the firm's discretion.

Salary Information:
The expected hiring range for the position is $73,853 - $102,517 per year, depending on the candidate’s geographic market location. Compensation will also depend on factors including the candidate’s experience, skills, educational and professional background, and overall qualifications. The law firm offers a comprehensive package of benefits, including medical, dental, vision insurance, and a 401(k) plan.
