Part-time Real Estate Closing Assistant or Paralegal The candidate will encompass all aspects of real estate closings, including pre-closing, closing, and post-closing. Pre-closing and closing tasks to ensure timely and efficient closings of commercial real estate transactions. Must have a high school or equivalent degree with 2 years of recent experience in all phases of the pre-closing and closing process, including ordering title; preparing title commitments; strong verbal and written communication skills and a proven work ethic; performing title clearance; preparing client information checklists; preparing draft closing disclosure forms/ settlement statements, and communications with lenders, purchasers, and sellers; SoftPro closing software experience preferred. Must be able to type at 70 wpm, have excellent computer skills to include demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Windows files, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat; pleasant and professional, organized, detail-oriented, and client-friendly.
