Law Firm Seeks Risk Management Conflict Clerk with 1-2 Years Experience

Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani, a national law firm, is currently seeking a Risk Management Conflict Clerk with 1-2 years of experience. This is a full-time position with flexible options for remote, hybrid, or onsite work schedules. The ideal candidate will have experience in a medium to large law firm and preferably have paralegal or law clerk experience. Confidentiality is a must in all client and firm matters.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct conflict of interest searches and handle matter intake from start to finish
- Analyze conflicts reports and make recommendations, highlighting potential conflicts for attorney review
- Communicate and disseminate conflict of interest information to lawyers and others as needed
- Conduct research using third-party business resources for new clients and other assigned work
- Maintain knowledge of applicable rules of professional conduct and client relationship considerations
- Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned
- Contribute to the department's work product by communicating and collaborating effectively with team members
- Be willing to work overtime as needed and approved, including weekends and holidays

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in related duties or skills (. research, paralegal or clerking experience)
- 1 year of direct conflicts experience in a law firm is preferred
- Professional demeanor is required
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Discretion and good judgment are essential
- Proficiency with Outlook is preferred
- Familiarity with legal documents is a plus

Education:

- College and work-related experience are preferred

Salary Range: $40,000 - $55,000
