Job Title: Paralegal (Entry Level)

Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct claimant interviews for new cases to gather essential information.
- Open new files and collect and analyze intake information and relevant documents.
- Manage a heavy call volume, maintaining extensive contact with clients, attorneys, insurance adjusters, and medical providers; facilitate in-person client appointments.
- Oversee case management and file reviews to prepare for upcoming hearings and settlements.
- Read, interpret, and follow up on medical reports to ensure accurate case handling.
- Communicate with insurance carriers regarding payments and medical treatment issues.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the attorneys or department.

Education and Experience Information:
- A Bachelor's degree is preferred for this position.
- At least 1 year of experience as a paralegal is preferred, especially with a focus on workers' compensation law.
- The candidate must be fluent in Spanish to effectively communicate with a diverse client base.

Salary Information:
- The position offers an annual salary of $40,000.

Additional Information:
- The position is full-time, requiring an 8-hour shift from Monday to Friday.
- The candidate must be able to commute to Brooklyn, NY 11201, as the work location is in person.
