Part-time Immigration Paralegal Assistant Duties: Assisting the immigration department to prepare and process petitions primarily for H-1B and other business nonimmigrant visas, and employment-based permanent residence process including PERM, I-140 petitions and I-485 Adjustment of Status; organizing petition packets for review and filing; entering information received from employers and employees; maintaining client files and entering data into an immigration case management system; adhering to submission deadlines; support and prepare responses to RFE's and other requests. Schedule clients for appointments with firm's attorneys.
Qualifications: Should preferably have 3-5 years of experience in immigration. Must possess strong communication skills, excellent grammar, proofreading, drafting, and organizational skills, and experience with immigration form software. Fluency in Spanish is preferred.
