is seeking a full-time Litigation Paralegal for our Appleton office. The ideal candidate will have experience in civil or commercial litigation, real estate, and/or commercial business transactions. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a wide range of legal support services to attorneys and other legal personnel. Job Responsibilities: * Summarize depositions * Draft correspondence, motions, discovery, and/or pleadings * Communicate with clients with updates and gather information * Assist attorneys in all aspects of discovery * Compile, organize, redact, and label documents for production * Docket and manage deadlines * Gather, analyze, and organize factual information * Prepare written reports or memorandum on factual research * Prepare initial drafts of non-complex pleadings * Assist attorneys in the courtroom * Interface with firm personnel, opposing counsel and their staff, and court personnel * Assist in the preparation for trials, depositions, and mediations * Perform other legal support or administrative or office duties as required or as assigned Qualifications: * Paralegal degree or certificate preferred * Three to five years of related experience required * Must possess excellent people skills * Demonstrate success in managing and prioritizing multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines * Ability to work independently and complete tasks efficiently without supervision * Excel working under pressure in a fast-paced environment with competing demands of your time * Possess exceptional organizational and time management skills * Proficient knowledge of legal terminology, principles, and basic procedures * Advanced skills in MS Office Applications * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Superior attention to detail, analytical, and critical thinking skills * Superior computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office and legal software Job Title: Litigation Paralegal Law Firm: Location: Appleton, WI US Salary: $25 - $32 hourly is looking for an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our team.
