Job Title: UI/UX Designer
Job Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine user needs and translate them into intuitive UI/UX solutions.
- Develop wireframes, mockups, user flows, and prototypes for web applications.
- Conduct usability testing, gather user feedback, and iterate on designs based on findings.
- Support consistent design language across products utilizing style guides, reusable components, and systemized design patterns.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of a design system aligned with TailwindCSS and ShadCN component libraries.
- Ensure all designs comply with WCAG accessibility standards to promote inclusive and user-friendly experiences.
- Work directly with developers to review, validate, and refine designs, ensuring technical feasibility without compromising UX quality.
- Clearly communicate design concepts through presentations, written documentation, and visual storytelling.
- Stay updated on UI/UX trends, tools, best practices, and emerging technologies.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Strong portfolio showcasing UI/UX design work for web or mobile applications.
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch.
- Understanding of user-centered design principles, interaction design, and usability.
- Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG ) and responsive design best practices.
- Ability to translate complex workflows into clean, intuitive, and component-driven user interfaces.
- Experience designing for systems using TailwindCSS and ShadCN or similar component libraries.
- Basic understanding of front-end development (HTML/CSS/JavaScript) is a plus.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
- Highly self-motivated, organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Familiarity with user research techniques and tools such as surveys, interviews, and heatmaps.
Education and Experience Information:
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field.
- 1-3 years of professional experience in UI/UX design or a similar role.
- Experience working on cross-functional Agile/SCRUM teams is preferred.
- Experience working in a macOS-based development environment is highly preferred.
