Job Title: eBilling Specialist
Job Responsibilities:
The eBilling Specialist is an integral part of the eBilling Team within the law firm, tasked with supporting the firm's electronically billed clients. The role involves collaborative efforts with the eBilling team and other Client Accounting teams to handle tasks related to the electronic submission of client invoices through various eBilling vendor websites. Key responsibilities include:
- Submitting eBilled client invoices and escalating unresolved eBilling issues to the eBilling manager for solution support.
- Identifying, researching, and troubleshooting rejected invoices for resolution and resubmission.
- Working closely with the eBilling Manager and other billing specialists to resolve eBilling-related issues, ensuring proper setup of eBilled matters in the Aderant billing system for accurate invoice preparation.
- Collaborating with the Collection Team to resolve eBilling issues reported by clients and performing necessary follow-ups.
- Submitting requests through eBilling vending sites for accruals, appeals, budgets, and timekeeper approvals.
- Ensuring timely and regular communication regarding eBilling rejections to appropriate internal team members and, if necessary, to impacted attorneys and legal practice assistants.
- Monitoring deduction notifications and forwarding them to billing specialists and legal practice assistants to obtain attorneys' challenge responses for filing appeals within the appropriate time.
- Reporting eBilling status for specific clients and delivering reports as requested to management.

Candidates for the eBilling Specialist position should possess the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:
- Proven ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Capability to communicate with people internally and externally at all levels to enhance the client experience.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple competing priorities in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment.
- Ability to produce high-volume, computerized document edits in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Outstanding customer/client service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively to represent the department professionally and positively.
- Proficiency in Excel.
Education and Experience:
The educational and experience requirements for the eBilling Specialist include:
- A Bachelor’s degree or any combination of training, education, and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.
- A minimum of two (2) years of eBilling experience.
- Experience with eBilling within a law firm is preferred.
- Experience with BillBlast, eBilling Hub, and Aderant/CMS is preferred.
Salary Information:
The hiring salary range for the eBilling Specialist position is between $50, and $70,. Compensation is dependent on several factors, such as position, location, education, training, and/or experience.
