Winstead PC, a top law firm in Dallas, is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Real Estate Paralegal to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with 4+ years of experience in a law firm setting, specifically in commercial real estate, title, and survey work. The ideal candidate will also have a Bachelor's degree, Paralegal certificate, Associate's degree in Paralegal Studies, or be a Certified Legal Assistant.
This is a full-time position with a highly competitive salary range of $60,000-$80,000 per year, depending on experience. As a member of the Real Estate Development & Investments department, the Paralegal will play a crucial role in supporting attorneys and clients in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Conducting research, due diligence, and title and survey review for real estate transactions
- Drafting legal documents, such as contracts, leases, and closing documents
- Communicating with clients, opposing counsel, and third parties to gather and exchange information
- Managing and organizing documents and files related to real estate matters
- Assisting attorneys with closings and other administrative tasks as needed
Required qualifications for the position include:
- 4+ years of paralegal experience in a law firm setting
- Strong knowledge of commercial real estate transactions, title, and survey work
- Bachelor's degree, Paralegal certificate, Associate's degree in Paralegal Studies, or Certified Legal Assistant
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized and able to work independently
