Paralegal Specialist – Personal Injury (Texas)

Job Responsibilities

The Paralegal Specialist will be an integral part of the Litigation Services team, working closely with experienced attorneys on high-impact personal injury cases involving bodily injury claims. The primary responsibilities include:

- Managing litigation files from inception through resolution, including trial preparation.
- Drafting and filing pleadings, responding to discovery requests, and supporting motion practice.
- Ordering and tracking medical and billing records, and coordinating expert review and disclosures.
- Preparing trial materials, including jury charges when applicable.
- Handling e-filing in Texas state and federal courts.
- Monitoring case deadlines to ensure timely service and compliance.
- Collaborating with attorneys, administrative assistants, and other paralegals to maintain organized, high-quality case files.

Education

A 4-year Bachelor’s Degree is highly preferred for this position. However, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered, such as a 2-year paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program.

Experience

- Experience as a Paralegal with a focus on personal injury or civil litigation in Texas is preferred.
- Experience managing high-volume caseloads in a fast-paced legal environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with Texas legal procedures, including petitions, discovery, motions, and court filings, is essential.

Salary Information

Compensation for this role is offered at – per hour and is based on experience and qualifications.
