Litigation Paralegal The candidate will be drafting legal documents such as complaints and answers, motions, discovery requests and responses, affidavits and other documents as required for review by attorneys. Reviewing, organizing and summarizing discovery as it is received. Investigating facts of case and preparing summaries for attorney. Organizing and archiving documents related to completed and ongoing cases. Assisting in trial preparation including preparing exhibits and trial binders. Coordinating scheduling witnesses and experts for depositions and trials. Communicating with clients via email and phone. Calendaring appointments and court dates. E-filing with multiple courts. Managing multiple projects and following up to ensure deadlines are met. Associate's Degree is required. Should have 3-5 years of prior Legal Assistant/Paralegal experience (will consider less experience with ABA Certified Paralegal degree.).
