Job Title: Knowledge Management Solutions Product Manager
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage and optimize the firm's Knowledge Management (KM) applications, including precedent banks and the intranet.
- Plan and oversee projects related to KM applications, from planning and discovery to implementation, deployment, and post-production support.
- Collaborate with legal departments, practice groups, and administrative departments to facilitate effective knowledge sharing and utilization.
- Partner with Procurement and Project Management teams as necessary for projects and KM applications.
- Maintain relationships and collaborate with third-party professional services for projects and KM applications.
- Implement best practices in legal KM to enhance the firm's capabilities.
- Provide technical support for KM applications.
- Work with the Director of Knowledge Solutions and Knowledge Management attorneys to develop and implement training programs to drive user adoption of KM tools and processes.
- Monitor and analyze the performance of KM applications and recommend improvements.
- Develop and maintain product roadmaps, ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities for innovation.
- In consultation with senior management, define and prioritize product features and requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Oversee the development and deployment of new features and enhancements, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.
- Use data analytics to measure product performance, user engagement, and satisfaction, making data-driven decisions for continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with relevant data privacy and security regulations in managing KM applications.
Education and Experience Information:
- Bachelor’s degree or a combination of experience, education, or training demonstrating the ability to perform the duties of the position.
- Minimum of five (5) years of proven experience in KM and practice support, with particular success in databases, intranets, portals, search engines, collaboration tools, and document management systems.
- Experience with user experience (UX) design principles and tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XD.
- Experience with change management and user adoption strategies.
- Experience in a large law firm is beneficial.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong technical skills related to KM applications.
- Knowledge and experience in implementing project management best practices.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving and innovation.
- Expert knowledge of the workflows and needs of attorneys in practice.
- Proficiency in KM tools, particularly document management systems, with a preference for iManage.
- Strong knowledge and implementation of taxonomies and information architecture best practices as they relate to online knowledge sharing applications.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organization and time management skills.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with appropriate discretion.
- Commitment to professional development and continuous learning, with a passion for KM, technology, innovation, and creative problem-solving.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and product management frameworks.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with data analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Tableau, or Power BI.
Salary Information:
- Compensation depends on factors such as position, location, education, training, and experience.
- Hiring Salary Range: $135, - $155,
