The law firm of **Members Only** is currently seeking an experienced Associate to join their Real Estate group in their Chicago office. This is a lateral position, with a focus on real estate transactions such as acquisitions, dispositions, lending, joint ventures, leasing, construction, development, land use, entitlements, and low-income housing tax credit transactions. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in these areas and must be admitted or eligible for prompt admission to the Illinois bar.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in real estate transactions including acquisitions, dispositions, lending, joint ventures, leasing, construction, development, land use, entitlements, and low-income housing tax credit transactions
- Conduct legal research and analysis
- Draft and review legal documents
- Communicate with clients and other parties involved in the transactions
- Attend meetings and negotiations
- Keep up-to-date with relevant laws and regulations

Required Skills and Experience:
- At least 3 years of experience in real estate transactions
- Admitted or eligible for prompt admission to the Illinois bar
- Strong legal research and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
