Job Title: Senior Client Intake Specialist (Immigration and Criminal Defense)
Job Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact with prospective clients, effectively managing and screening leads.
- Gather and document case details to determine the suitability of retention by the law firm.
- Prioritize business development and demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on client relations.
- Handle a high volume of incoming client calls, ensuring operational excellence.
- Screen telephone calls before scheduling attorney-client consultations.
- Consistently monitor all potential new client inquiries through various channels such as email, internet, phone, and referrals.
- Establish relationships with prospective clients through immediate and effective communication.
- Maintain accurate logs and reporting systems reflecting the status of all potential new clients.
- Conduct interviews with potential new clients, demonstrating genuine empathy and compassion.
- Schedule appointments for potential clients and take detailed notes during attorney-client initial consultations.
- Collaborate with attorneys to facilitate the completion of the initial consultation process.
- Assist attorneys with administrative tasks related to opening new cases and maintaining databases.
- Follow instructions from supervising attorneys and perform tasks accordingly.
- Perform clerical duties including writing emails, transcribing notes, researching legal documents, faxing, copying, and creating spreadsheets, with the ability to manage complex spreadsheets.
Education and Experience Information:
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is mandatory.
- A minimum of 3 years of sales experience is required, with customer service experience considered a significant advantage.
- A strong background in performance-based metrics is essential.
- Experience with case management software is highly advantageous.
- The candidate must be resourceful and motivated to resolve issues as they arise.
- Proven ability to meet goals and deadlines is necessary.
- Weekend work availability is required.
- Experience in Immigration and Criminal Defense is strongly preferred.
