Job Responsibilities
The Intake Agent is responsible for managing incoming calls from current and potential clients, completing intakes, providing status updates, answering inquiries, handling complaints, and delivering information. The role serves as the liaison between the law firm and its current and potential customers. The Intake Agent must effectively assist callers and prioritize client satisfaction in every decision and behavior. Key responsibilities include:
- Being available to take calls whenever clocked in
- Answering phones promptly and courteously using company procedures
- Providing accurate, valid, and complete information by using the right methods and protocols
- Responding to general information requests or inquiries and referring callers to the correct regional office
- Completing all intakes in a timely manner by maintaining an appropriate average handle time
- Accurately entering all data and confirming the information entered
- Effectively de-escalating angry or upset callers
- Ensuring caller expectations are met by following up as promised
- Avoiding work avoidance by completing every possible intake on the first call
- Meeting Quality Assurance Requirements
- Maintaining a positive work atmosphere with a culture of respect for others
- Ensuring excellent attendance
- Performing other related duties and responsibilities as assigned by the manager or team leader
Education and Experience Information
- High school diploma or GED required
- Supplemented with two (2) years of customer service or related field experience
