Job Title: Conflicts Analyst

Job Responsibilities:
The Conflicts Analyst is tasked with monitoring new business submissions on a daily basis, ensuring that they are processed appropriately. This involves reviewing, analyzing, and summarizing conflict reports related to prospective business to identify potential conflicts of interest. Specific duties include:

- Monitoring new business intake workflows from both US and offshore offices, processing submissions as necessary.
- Analyzing conflict reports to identify potential conflicts of interest.
- Initiating the conflicts clearance process with other conflicts staff members, including those in other law firm offices.
- Assisting Supervising Partners in clearing potential conflicts of interest as directed.
- Reviewing conflict reports for updates to existing matters and reporting potential conflicts to the Conflicts Counsel or Supervising Partner.
- Reviewing conflicts reports on potential lateral hires, summarizing potential conflicts of interest, and reporting to the Conflicts Counsel, Attorney Recruiting, or the sponsoring Partner as directed.
- Establishing and maintaining ethical screens within the firm system, communicating these to law firm conflicts staff as directed by the Conflicts Counsel.
- Performing quarterly client/matter closures as necessary.
- Maintaining files for Consent and/or Engagement letters, including updating the Elite database as appropriate.
- Performing other duties, projects, and additional responsibilities as assigned.

Education and Experience Information:
- A Bachelor’s degree is required for this position.
- A minimum of 3 years of prior experience in a large law firm is required. Experience working in large databases is also necessary.
- Experience at a global law firm is preferred.
- The candidate should be highly organized and comfortable working in a deadline-intensive environment.
- Analytical skills with keen attention to detail, excellent writing/proofing skills, and a strong client service orientation are required.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact tactfully with all levels of firm personnel and external contacts are mandatory.
- The candidate must be responsible for completing tasks and following through with the resolution of issues.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Agile Point Workflow, and Intapp Open is preferred.

Salary Information:
The salary for this remote role is commensurate with years of relevant experience and geographic location. The salary range for this position varies depending on geographic location and other factors such as experience, internal equity, market data, and job-related considerations. The range for this position is from $62,100 to $119,000, with offers contingent upon various factors.
