Job Responsibilities:
The Legal Administrative Assistant (LAA) is a crucial member of the Business Litigation LAA team, tasked with producing a variety of work products related to the attorney/client interface. This includes the creation and management of documents, time entries, e-filing, and the assembly of binders. The role also involves coordinating and facilitating travel plans, meetings, electronic and face-to-face communications, handling incoming and outgoing mail and other correspondence, entering expenses, and maintaining files. The LAA must work effectively with a range of professionals, including attorneys, paralegals, staff, and clients.

Essential functions of the role include:
- Legal Administrative Support (75%): Typing and modifying legal documents accurately and within requested timeframes, coordinating complex document preparation, preparing documents for e-filing, managing mail, maintaining both paper and electronic files, managing client calls, coordinating timekeeper calendars, arranging travel and meetings, and updating contact databases.
- Client Billing Coordination (20%): Preparing daily time entries for attorneys, handling expense reimbursement requests, coordinating billing matters with the accounting department, preparing billing letters, and assisting with tracking and monitoring financial arrangements.
- General and Administrative (5%): Demonstrating effective teamwork, assisting other LAAs, cooperating with other departments, and performing other duties as assigned by the core practice group.

Education and Experience Information:
- Required Education & Experience: High School diploma or equivalent, with 3-4 years of LAA (Litigation) experience or equivalent. Strong computer skills in Microsoft Word and Outlook, as well as file document management tools such as iManage Work, are necessary.
- Preferred Education & Experience: College or business school education, prior experience in the assigned practice area(s), strong computer skills, and prior experience in a law firm.
