Job Title: Technology Support Specialist

Job Responsibilities:
The Technology Support Specialist is responsible for providing desk-side technology customer support and assisting with strategic projects and operational activities that impact the local office. Key responsibilities include:

- Participating in the ACD system as directed and monitoring the Information Technology (IT) Help Desk ticketing system to ensure that issues and requests are resolved or escalated per established Service Legal Agreements.
- Providing desk-side technical support, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
- Coordinating day-to-day operational IT activities, including new hire setup, audio and video conference presentations, office moves, and departures.
- Providing basic desktop application support, including installation, maintenance, drivers, and imaging, as well as basic support for mobile devices.
- Physically assisting in supporting infrastructure in one or more offices, such as cabling and acting as a remote set of hands for others.
- Participating in a minimum of 85% of pre-pilots and reporting findings, becoming familiar with each change.
- Being well-versed in law firm and IT department technology policies and procedures and actively promoting their adherence, with the potential to make recommendations for policy or procedure changes.
- Working and integrating well with others to deliver results and fostering a cooperative team environment.
- Participating in law firm, regional, and local projects as directed by performing specific tasks in support of the project.

Education and Experience Information:
- An associate degree in a related field such as Computer Science or equivalent technical knowledge is preferred.
- Under two years of related work experience is required.
- Experience with macOS is a plus.
- Functional written and verbal communication skills are necessary.
- The ability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize responsibilities is essential.
- The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and changing environment is necessary.
- The ability to handle and maintain confidential information is required.
- The ability to work flexible and/or fluctuating work hours and operate within defined guidelines and supervision is expected.
