Job Title: Paralegal

Job Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys with managing tasks on their docket, including drafting correspondence and scheduling mediation.
- Responsible for filing and e-filing in both federal and state courts.
- Manage calendaring of deadlines and hearing dates.
- Facilitate communication between providers, paralegals, legal secretaries, court personnel, other attorneys, and clients.
- Assist in preparing for mediations, hearings, depositions, and trials.
- Utilize a foundational understanding of Torts, Texas Civil Procedure, and Evidence.

Education and Experience Information:
- Minimum of 3 years of legal experience required.
- Advanced experience in Microsoft Office programs.
- Recommended 2 years of experience in the legal field, particularly with 1st party property damage cases.
- Experience with Needles Software is a plus.
- Proficiency in Spanish is required.
- Strong analytical, oral, and written communication skills.
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and organization.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively.
- Ability to adapt and perform well in high-stress situations.
