Job Title:
Junior/Mid-Level Compensation Associate
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide legal counsel on executive compensation and employee benefits.
- Advise private and public companies on incentive and compensation arrangements.
- Handle legal matters related to mergers and acquisitions, spin-offs, divestitures, IPOs, redomiciles, and other transactions.
- Assist multinational companies with international and domestic labor and employment issues.
- Defend companies in litigation in both state and federal court.
- Lead cross-border and multi-disciplinary employment projects.
- Translate international legal landscapes for in-house counsel and managers with global responsibilities.
Education and Experience Information:
- Two to five years of experience in executive compensation and employee benefits.
- Strong academic credentials.
- Excellent communication and writing skills.
- Admission and good standing in the Bar of the state of employment.
- Major law firm experience is a plus.
- Candidates with a strong global tax or corporate law background are considered.
Salary Information:
- The position is bonus-eligible and includes benefits such as medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).
- US base compensation is expected to be between $235,000 and $365,000 annually.
- Individual pay is determined by work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
- Specific salary range for preferred location will be discussed during the hiring process.
