**Members Only** is seeking a Legal Counsel, Competition & Sanctions to join their global legal team. This is a regular employment opportunity with a competitive salary range of $155,000 to $200,000. The successful candidate will have a university degree and be a qualified lawyer admitted to practice in the United States, with a minimum of 4+ years' post qualification experience in a financial crime legal advisory role. Proficiency in additional languages is a plus.

About the Role

As Legal Counsel, Competition & Sanctions, you will provide legal advice on competition law issues and serve as a subject matter expert on trade and economic sanctions laws and regulations. You will also monitor legal trends and developments, and engage and manage relationships with external counsel. Additionally, you will contribute to legal reports and projects, and support the development of policies and practices to maintain high ethical standards.

Responsibilities:

- Provide legal advice on competition law issues, including behavioral, transactional, and contentious issues
- Serve as a subject matter expert on trade and economic sanctions laws and regulations
- Monitor legal trends and developments
- Engage and manage relationships with external counsel
- Contribute to legal reports and group-wide projects and initiatives
- Support the development of policies and practices to promote and maintain high ethical standards

About the Team

As part of the global legal team at **Members Only**, you will provide counsel on competition, trade, and economic sanctions across the organization's businesses and multiple jurisdictions. You will work closely with colleagues in senior management, contracts, and legal and compliance to provide pragmatic and solution-driven advice to the business.

About You

The ideal candidate for this role is an outstanding communicator with a high level of ethics and integrity. You should have a university degree and be a qualified lawyer admitted to practice in the United States, with a minimum of 4+ years' post qualification experience in a financial crime legal advisory role. Proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
